Sitting in your lawn chair, the early dusky blue sky stretches before you. Not for long though. Nearby over 500 hot air balloons are preparing to take off en mass. What a massive amount of sound! The sounds of the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta!

Commonly called the Albuquerque Balloon festival, it is actually called a Fiesta. Why not?! It is a party of hot air balloons, with many balloon related activities. Boredom is not going to be a problem.

Albuquerque has scheduled many events, including balloon glows and fireworks throughout the week. There will be catered evening meals and morning coffees every day of the fiesta.
